Recently, I’ve had a number of sessions with siblings… this one is a great example of what you can expect when I’m working with coordinating a newborn and a toddler who is all over the place :) First, I work on shots of the family together, and will often have everybody read a book on the bed to get all the bodies in one place. I’ll get some shots of the new big sibling on their own, and then “try” (key word being try!) to get some shots of the kids together. This little guy was not at all interested in his new sister, but thanks to some M&Ms strategically placed… we were able to get them together for a couple of shots :) We finish up our time together focusing on the star of the show (and usually the most cooperative subject) — baby girl. Despite the chaos, I know this family will be grateful they took the time to document the joy and crazy that is life with two under two :)
