those first few weeks of a family getting to know each other are so beautifully sacred. there’s nothing that can prepare you for the exhaustion, the overwhelming love, the constant drain on time and energy, and the wonder of becoming something new. amazing how one tiny person can change everything so much. i loved spending this rainy, cozy morning with baby Lawson and his parents, and getting to shoot in that gorgeous nursery of his was a highlight as well!
