As I sat down to cull my favorite images from 2017, I realized something : More and more I am photographing the moments I want to remember as a parent. Our youngest turned 3 this past year. That fleeting season of baby is now but a memory for us. One that I don’t want you to ever forget. They are tiny for but a moment. And then you watch your chubby baby lengthen and grow into a toddler, ever on the move. Before you know it, they are scraping knees and losing teeth and heading off to school. Every stage and season has its joys and challenges. I want you to be able to look back and forever remember all the good stuff. The gummy smiles. The dimpled knees. The slobbery kisses. The crumpled, colorful paintings lining the walls. How their faces just beamed in the heat of a good tickle fest. And the depth of love + beauty that shone in your face as you watched them.
