I think 2016 will go down as one of my favorite years of work so far… after my trip to Oregon back in March, I came home with a clarified vision for why and how and what I want to shoot. From that point on, I feel like Penny Gray really became much more what I want it to be. I’m being invited into homes and lives in the most raw/lovely/joy-filled moments. More and more of the pictures I’m creating are making my heart sing. Photographing babies and families in their homes is just my very favorite and best. I’m so excited to see how this art continues to unfold in the coming year… it’s already off to a wonderful start, photographing three new babies over the weekend, with two more later this week. To be welcomed into your homes to do the work that I love is just such a gift. There is indeed such joy in the ordinary moments. My heart is full <3
